If an author that you really wanted to hear came to the store and you couldn't make it, if you really enjoyed one of our talks and would like to hear it again, or if you simply want something to listen to in the car or on the Metro, Politics and Prose records many of our events and they are available for $7.50 per recording.

Plouffe has chosen a career in politics. He has managed many campaigns, including Tom Harkins’s run for the Senate. He served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Democratic leader Dick Gephardt. In 2003 he joined a political firm with David Axelrod and they began their association with Senate candidate Barack Obama. Newsweek called Plouffe “the campaign’s mastermind.” His book will reveal the management strategies that he used in Obama’s Presidential campaign.

This is a ticketed event. Tickets are $8 each or receive 2 free tickets with the purchase of the book. Tickets ARE still available by calling the store directly at 202-364-1919. All our in-store events are free and open to the public. All event titles are 20% off for members during the month in which the author appears at the store. Click here for directions. There is ample parking available in the lot behind the store and in the surrounding neighborhood.

If you can't come to an event and still want an autographed copy of the book, you may purchase titles in advance either in the store, over the phone (202.364.1919 or 1.800.722.0790), or through our website. Event recordings on CD or MP3 are also available in the store and online.
